Founded by the Académie Franco-Chinoise d’Art et de Culture, the JPA (Jeune Pinceau Awards) has received strong support from the French Ministry of Education, the central government of Paris, the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, as well as numerous renowned cultural and art institutions across Europe.

This event opens up to young teens and children worldwide (up to the age of 21). Initially, it was focused on Chinese and French young artists, but since 2023 it has welcomed young talents from all over the world. Hence JPA awards is now reaching to other ASIA and ASEAN countries progressively.

Its mission is to promote exchange (in education, creation, and journeys of exploration), to discover new young artistic talents, and to present perspectives of multicultural dialogue for all.

It aims to provide a platform for children and teenagers from diverse cultural backgrounds to come together in unity, to observe, learn, inspire, and interact with one another. A platform to help every gifted child showcase and realized their artistic dreams on a global stage.
